Birmingham City Council – Corporate Promotions and PR

Nicola prepared and actively participated in the delivery of fully funded communications campaigns at world class events for Birmingham City Council including the G8 Birmingham Summit, Eurovision Song Contest and Lions International Convention. She was responsible for generating income through sponsorship. The highlight was the Birmingham Welcomes the World campaign in 1997 which included the focus events of the G8 Birmingham Summit and the Eurovision Song Contest. On a day-to-day basis she led the team responsible for delivering communications activity for economic development, transportation, social services, education and corporate services.
